Speak with Authority like Jesus
When Jesus concluded his address, the
crowd burst into applause. They had never heard teaching like this. It was
apparent that he was living everything he was saying—quite a contrast to their
religion teachers! This was the best teaching they had ever heard.
When Jesus had finished [speaking] these
words [on the mountain], the crowds were astonished and overwhelmed at His teaching; for He was teaching them as one
who had authority [to teach entirely of His own volition], and not as their
scribes [who relied on others to confirm their authority].
For the kingdom of God is not based on
talk but on power.
The Kingdom of God is not just talking;
it is living by God’s power.
Pray asking God to give you the STRENGTH to stand strong against the Pharisee’s of our generation. Remember if they Hated Jesus they are going to HATE you even more. Modern Day Pharisee’s [Teachers, Preachers, Evangelist, Prophets, Apostles, Bishops] however they are labeling themselves at the moment will HATE YOU for teaching people the TRUTH of the WORD of GOD and for EXPOSING the EVIL in their HEARTS to manipulate the children of God. Challenge Jesus on Who He Is
John 8:12-59 {NIV}
When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in
darkness, but will have the light of life.” The Pharisees challenged him, “Here you are, appearing as your
own witness; your testimony is not valid.” Jesus
answered, “Even if I testify on my own
behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am
going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no
one. But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I
am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. In
your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true. I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness
is the Father, who sent me.”Then they asked him, “Where is your father?”“You do not know me or my Father,”
Jesus replied. “If you knew me, you would know
my Father also.” He spoke these words while teaching in the temple courts near
the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his hour

Father’s presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father.” “Abraham is our father,” they answered. “If you were Abraham’s children,”
said Jesus, “then you would do what Abraham
did. As it is, you are looking for a way
to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did
not do such things. You are doing the works of your own
father.” “We are not illegitimate children,” they
protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.” Jesus
said to them, “If God were your Father, you
would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God
sent me. Why is my language not
clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your
father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the
truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native
language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet
because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can
any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you
believe me? Whoever belongs to God hears what God says.
The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” The Jews answered him, “Aren’t we right in saying that you are a
Samaritan and demon-possessed?” “I
am not possessed by a demon,”
said Jesus, “but I honor my Father and you
dishonor me. I am not
seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.
Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see
death.” At this they exclaimed, “Now we know that
you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that
whoever obeys your word will never taste death. Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the
prophets. Who do you think you are?” Jesus replied, “If I
glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God,
is the one who glorifies me. Though you do not know him,
I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him
and obey his word. Your father Abraham rejoiced at the
thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” “You
are not yet fifty years old,” they said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before
Abraham was born, I am!” At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid
himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, “I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the

[just by what you see]. I do

He said to them, “You are from below, I am from
above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. That is why I
told you that you will die [unforgiven and

believe that I am the One [I claim to be], you
will die in your sins.” So
they said to Him, “Who are You [anyway]?” Jesus replied, “What have I been saying to you from the beginning? I have many
things to say and judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I say
to the world [only] the things that I have heard from Him.” They did not realize [or have the spiritual insight to
understand] that He was speaking to them about the Father. So
Jesus said, “When you lift up the Son of Man [on the cross], you
will know then [without any doubt] that I am He, and that
I do nothing on My own authority, but I say these things just as My Father
taught Me. And
He who sent Me is [always] with Me; He has not left Me alone, because I always do what pleases
Him.”As He said these
things, many believed in Him. So
Jesus was saying to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word
[continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you are truly My disciples. And you will know the truth [regarding salvation], and
the truth will set you free [from the penalty of
sin].” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and
have never been enslaved to anyone. What do You mean by saying, ‘You will be set free’?” Jesus
answered, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you,
everyone who practices sin habitually
is a slave of sin. Now the slave does not remain in a household forever;
the son [of the master] does remain forever. So if the Son makes you
free, then you are unquestionably free.
I know that you are Abraham’s descendants;
yet you plan to kill Me, because My word has no place [to grow] in
you [and it makes no change in your heart]. I tell the things that I have seen at My Father’s side [in His very presence]; so
you also do the things that you heard from your father.”They
answered, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you are [truly] Abraham’s children, then do the works of Abraham and follow his example. But as it is,
you want to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God.
This is not the way Abraham acted. You are doing the works of
your [own] father.” They said to Him, “We

[but He is not], you would love and recognize Me, for I came from God [out of His very presence] and have arrived here.

do you misunderstand what I am saying? It is because [your spiritual ears are deaf and] you are unable to hear
[the truth of] My word. You are of your father the devil, and it is your
will to practice the desires

truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks what is natural
to him, for he is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths. But because I speak the
truth, you do not believe Me

God and belongs to Him hears [the truth of] God’s
words; for this reason you do not hear them: because you are not of God and you are not in fellowship with

Samaritan and [that You] have a demon [and are under its power]?” Jesus
answered, “I do not have a demon. On the

judges [those who dishonor Me]. I assure you and
most solemnly say to you, if anyone keeps My word [by living in accordance with My message] he will indeed never, ever see and

Abraham died, and also the prophets; yet You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word, he will never, ever taste of death.’ Are You greater than our father Abraham, who
died? The prophets died too! Whom do You make Yourself out to be?” Jesus
answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory is [worth] nothing.
It is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ Yet you do not
know Him, but I know Him fully. If I said I did not know Him, I would be a liar
like you. But I do know Him and keep His word.

fifty years old, and You [claim to] have seen Abraham?” Jesus

temple.
The Word of God warns His son’s and daughter’s to be on the lookout for FALSE {FAKE} Preachers, Teachers and Prophets.
Look around at the World we are living in right now my friends. Open your eyes to see the LIES and DECEPTION taking place in the Body of Christ. God wants to heal His church, He wants His people to let go of the Satanic practices that have been slowly brought in by sly snakes posing as Your own, all the while they are doing the bidding of their Master, Satan.
Don’t be naive. There are difficult times
ahead. As the end approaches, people are going to be self-absorbed,
money-hungry, self-promoting, stuck-up, profane, contemptuous of parents,
crude, coarse, dog-eat-dog, unbending, slanderers, impulsively wild, savage,
cynical, treacherous, ruthless, bloated windbags, addicted to lust, and
allergic to God. They’ll make a show of religion, but behind the scenes they’re
animals. Stay clear of these people. These are the kind of people who
smooth-talk themselves into the homes of unstable and needy women and take
advantage of them; women who, depressed by their sinfulness, take up with every
new religious fad that calls itself “truth.” They get exploited every time and
never really learn. These men are like those old Egyptian frauds Jannes and
Jambres, who challenged Moses. They were rejects from the faith, twisted in
their thinking, defying truth itself. But nothing will come of these latest
impostors. Everyone will see through them, just as people saw through that
Egyptian hoax.
Matthew 7:15-20 {Message} warns of the false preachers who will smile the whole time they are robbing you blind because they have blinded you with a FALSE HOPE.
“Be wary of false preachers who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to rip you off some way or other. Don’t be impressed with charisma; look for character. Who preachers are is the main thing, not what they say. A genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or your pocketbook. These diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned.

But there were also lying prophets among the people then,
just as there will be lying religious teachers among you. They’ll smuggle in

every vulnerable soul they come upon. Their specialty is greed, and they’re
experts at it. Dead souls! They’ve left
the main road and are directionless, having taken the way of Balaam, son of
Beor, the prophet who turned profiteer, a connoisseur of evil. But Balaam was
stopped in his wayward tracks: A dumb animal spoke in a human voice and
prevented the prophet’s craziness. There’s
nothing to these people—they’re dried-up fountains, storm-scattered clouds,
headed for a black hole in hell. They are loudmouths, full of hot air, but
still they’re dangerous. Men and women who have recently escaped from a deviant
life are most susceptible to their brand of seduction. They promise these
newcomers freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, for if they’re
addicted to corruption—and they are—they’re enslaved. If they’ve escaped from
the slum of sin by experiencing our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ, and then
slid back into that same old life again, they’re worse than if they had never
left. Better not to have started out on the straight road to God than to start
out and then turn back, repudiating the experience and the holy command. They
prove the point of the proverbs, “A dog goes back to its own vomit” and “A
scrubbed-up pig heads for the mud.”

Beloved, do not believe every spirit
[speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see
whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. By this you know and recognize the Spirit of God:
every spirit that acknowledges and
confesses [the fact] that Jesus Christ has [actually] come in the flesh [as a
man] is from God [God is its source]; and every spirit that does not confess
Jesus [acknowledging that He has come in the flesh, but would deny any of the
Son’s true nature] is not of God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is
now already in the world. Little children (believers, dear ones), you are of
God and you belong to Him and
have [already] overcome them [the agents of the antichrist]; because He who is
in you is greater than he (Satan) who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. They
[who teach twisted doctrine] are of the world and belong to it; therefore they speak from the [viewpoint of
the] world [with its immoral freedom and baseless theories—demanding compliance
with their opinions and ridiculing the values of the upright], and the
[gullible one of the] world listens closely and pays attention to them. We [who teach God’s word] are from
God [energized by the Holy Spirit], and whoever knows God [through personal
experience] listens to us [and has a deeper understanding of Him]. Whoever is
not of God does not listen to us. By this we know [without any doubt] the
spirit of truth [motivated by God] and the spirit of error [motivated by
Satan].

My dear friends don’t believe everything
you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who
talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the
world. Here’s how you test for the genuine Spirit of God. Everyone who
confesses openly his faith in Jesus Christ—the Son of God, who came as an
actual flesh-and-blood person—comes from God and belongs to God. And everyone
who refuses to confess faith in Jesus has nothing in common with God. This is
the spirit of antichrist that you heard was coming. Well, here it is, sooner
than we thought! My dear children, you come from God and belong to God. You
have already won a big victory over those false teachers, for the Spirit in you
is far stronger than anything in the world. These people belong to the
Christ-denying world. They talk the world’s language and the world eats it up.
But we come from God and belong to God. Anyone who knows God understands us and
listens. The person who has nothing to do with God will, of course, not listen
to us. This is another test for telling the Spirit of Truth from the spirit of
deception.
