The Old Law had to be nailed to the Cross, so mankind could obtain the Freedom from that law having Jesus Christ become the law a new. Now through Jesus we can obtain the Perfection God intended for His Children, including LGBTQ people the "Evangelical Church" has worked so hard to keep under bondage through enforcement of OLD LAWS

How great it is to know that we, 2017 until Christ returns are FREE from the BONDAGE of the OLD LAW which NO MAN or WOMAN was able to follow or keep in its entirety. It is so great to know that GOD loves humankind so much that He sent His only Son into this World, to die on a cross, be buried in a borrowed tomb only to rise on the third day to become our once and only sacrifice for our sins {John 3:14-18}. No longer do we have to sacrifice animals, have a priest forgive us because we have JESUS our Savior and our Friend {John 15:15} who is constantly making a case {1 John 2:1} for us to our Father God. Read: 1 John 4:14, John 4:42, 1 Timothy 4:10, 2 Timothy 1:10, Philippians 3:20, Acts 4:12, 1 Timothy 1:15, Hebrews 8:1-2 , John 14:16.
Since Jesus has made it so EASY to live an Abundantly Happy Life, why are so many "church" people walking around like their best friend just died? Come on FOLLOWERS of CHRIST, lift up those heads, stand tall and stand firm in the Lord knowing that we who believe in Jesus and ask Him to forgive us of all our sins, He is faithful and just to do so removing them from us as far as the East is from The West {Psalm 103:11-13}.

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (worldliness, manner of life), God made you alive together with Christ, having [freely] forgiven us all our sins, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of legal demands [which were in force] against us and which were hostile to us. And this certificate He has set aside and completely removed by nailing it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the cross. Therefore let no one judge you in regard to food and drink or in regard to [the observance of] a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day. Such things are only a shadow of what is to come and they have only symbolic value; but the substance [the reality of what is foreshadowed] belongs to Christ. Colossians 2:13-17
Praise God for FREELY forgiving us our sins through His Son Jesus Christ. What a joy it is to know that the Old Law with all its rituals and unattainable rules was nailed to the Cross, so we may now live FREE from bondage through Christ Jesus. If anyone preaches, teaches or tells you that you are bound to the laws of the Old Testament still today, they are a Liar. We need only look to the Word of God to find the TRUTH that Jesus Christ is the AUTHOR and PERFECTER of our FAITH {Hebrews 12:1-2}.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who by faith have testified to the truth of God’s absolute faithfulness], stripping off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]. Hebrews 12:1-2
Praise God that we do NOT have to be PERFECT to obtain a PERFECT relationship with God our Heavenly Father. It is through the perfection of Jesus Christ that our perfection can be obtained and NOT through the LAWS of OLD that no one was able to completely follow. My dear friend and sister in Christ Jesus, Suzanne DeWitt Hall has put together a wonderful collection of daily devotionals that will help guide out of the BONDAGE of mankind's impossible rules into the FREEDOM you will experience when you follow the Laws of Grace through Christ Jesus. Enjoy the following devotional and may it shed new light in your life.
May the TRUTH of GOD'S Word set you FREE,

From her book "Where True Love Is pg. 59-60"
Now if perfection [a perfect fellowship between God and the worshiper] had been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people were given the Law) what further need was there for another and different kind of priest to arise, one in the manner of Melchizedek, rather than one appointed to the order of Aaron? For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is of necessity a change of the law [concerning the priesthood] as well. For the One of whom these things are said belonged [not to the priestly line of Levi but] to another tribe, from which no one has officiated or served at the altar. For it is evident that our Lord descended from [the tribe of] Judah, and Moses mentioned nothing about priests in connection with that tribe. For, on the one hand, a former commandment is cancelled because of its weakness and uselessness [because of its inability to justify the sinner before God] (for the Law never made anything perfect); while on the other hand a better hope is introduced through which we now continually draw near to God. And indeed it was not without the taking of an oath [that Christ was made priest] (for those Levites who formerly became priests [received their office] without [its being confirmed by the taking of] an oath, but this One [was designated] with an oath through the One who said to Him, “The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind or regret it, ‘You (Christ) are a Priest forever’” And so [because of the oath’s greater strength and force] Jesus has become the certain guarantee of a better covenant [a more excellent and more advantageous agreement; one that will never be replaced or annulled]. Hebrews 7:11-14, 18-22
Conservative Christians
vehemently claim the entirety of scripture still applies and remains in place
for today’s faithful. But the counsel to the Hebrews above offers a very
different view of the law.
The first line alone sums it
up: If perfection can be attained through the old way of doing things, i.e. by
following the letter of the law and going to priests for sacrificial removal of
our sins against that law, then why was Jesus needed? Why did we need a priest
who goes back to the time before the law existed?
But the priesthood did
change, and as the passage says, the law must be changed also. The old regulations
we set aside as weak, useless, and making nothing perfect.
Jesus is the ultimate law
breaker. He became high priest when the Bible is clear priests come from the
tribe of Levi, not Judah. In that becoming, he brings a better covenant, a
better hope, and a better law through which we draw near to God.
Perfection cannot be achieved
through the law. It comes only through Jesus.
You can avoid Jesus as Savior by keeping all
the moral laws. If you do that, then you have “rights”. God owes you answered
prayers, and a good life, and a ticket to heaven when you die. You don’t need a
Savior who pardons you by free grace, for you are your own Savior.
