"God uses broken things, therefore He can use your brokenness to help you heal others!" Amen!

At some point in our lives we have ALL {including LGBTQI+} have been broken; whether it be by a family member, significant other, best friend or even the "CHURCH". It is through that brokenness that we find the strength to move forward in our journey through the help of Jesus Christ. It is amazing how much God loves ALL of us that He sent Jesus to help us in our journey through His wise counsel. He even sent His Holy Spirit to comfort us in our brokenness and teach us the mysteries of the God through the Bible if we let Him guide us.
Just look at your own calling, believers; not many [of you
were considered] wise according to human standards, not many powerful or
influential, not many of high and noble birth. But God has selected [for
His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their
ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world
to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty]. God has
selected [for His purpose] the insignificant (base) things of the world, and
the things that are despised and treated with contempt, [even] the
things that are nothing, so that He might reduce to nothing the things that
are, so that no one may [be able to] boast in the presence of God. But it is
from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God
[revealing His plan of salvation], and righteousness [making us acceptable to
God], and sanctification [making us holy and setting us apart for God], and
redemption [providing our ransom from the penalty for sin], so then, as it is
written [in Scripture], “He who boasts
and glories, let him boast and
glory in the Lord.”1
Corinthians 1:26-31
Throughout scripture we see God using imperfect people for the sake of His will. When you look at the men Jesus chose, I am guessing His reasoning was to further prove the validity of His being. He didn’t call the popular, rich or successful to further his ministry, but rather the, poor, broken and faithful. Can you imagine how confused the Pharisees and religious leaders must have been while looking at the team of people Jesus had gathered together?
Today Jesus is calling men and women this world would never guess to be His team to spread the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPELS, which is salvation for ALL {including LGBTQI+} who chose Jesus as their savior. These men and women of God are being persecuted continually by the Evangelical Church that refuses to believe God created us this way.
At a time in my life when I was really searching my heart for the heart of Jesus I had accepted when I was younger, God reached out to me to let me know He had heard my prayers. My experience with God was through Him using a Prophet that knew nothing about me, tell me He saw me every night I cried myself to sleep as a little boy from the age of 5 to make me a “NORMAL” little boy…Read the rest of my journey into self acceptance and love, here...
Jesus viewed all things in the light of eternity, and so should we: “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart” (Hebrews 12:2-3).
God draws us, He calls to us. He longs for us to come to Him so He can heal us. Often, we are unable to hear His call because we’re so busy with other things – our lives, our families, our work, our own problems and unhappiness. Sometimes we must be broken before we realize our need. And our deepest need is to be reconciled to God. Only then can we be made whole (Matthew 5:5).
“Blessed [inwardly peaceful, spiritually secure,
worthy of respect] are the gentle [the kind-hearted, the sweet-spirited, the
self-controlled], for they will inherit the earth." Matthew 5:5
The solution can never come from our own efforts or striving, but comes only from Him. Only when we recognize our need for God are we able to take our eyes off ourselves and focus them on God and Jesus Christ. Only when we stop thinking about ourselves and start thinking about what Jesus did for us can we begin to heal. Only when we admit our need and ask God into our life, can God begin to make us whole. Only when we confess that we are broken can God make us into what He wants us to be. Once we let go of self and place God at the center of our lives, everything else falls into place (Matthew 6:33).
But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive
after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the
attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also. Matthew 6:33
During the final week of Jesus’ life, He was eating a meal, and “a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head” (Mark 14:3). The woman’s action of breaking the alabaster jar was symbolic of a couple of things: Jesus would soon be “broken” on the cross, and all who follow Him must be willing to be “broken” as well. But the result of such costly brokenness is beautiful, indeed.
Surrender
to God and allow Him to make you whole, to give your life meaning, purpose and
joy. Trust Him. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those
who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose” (Romans
8:28).
To us, broken things are despised as worthless, but God can take what has been broken and remake it into something better, something that He can use for His glory. Broken things and broken people are the result of sin. Yet God sent his Son, who was without sin, to be broken so that we might be healed. On the night before He died, Jesus broke the bread and said, “This is my body, which is broken for you.” {1 Corinthians 11:14} He went all the way to Calvary to die so that we can live. His death has made it possible for broken, sinful humanity to be reconciled to God and be healed. Without the broken body of Jesus, we could not be made whole.
“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed
for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by
his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
From an outside perspective, we can see that it didn’t matter where people were from, what they had done, or who they use to be; Jesus used all people for the good of His will. The Lord will give you the words to say and His knowledge if you open yourself to Him. Here are some examples of people that were used for the greatness of HIS glory, who were NOT qualified until He told them they were qualified.

"Meanwhile,
the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping
us along. It doesn’t matter if we don’t know how or what to pray, because the
Holy Spirit can pray through you to God on your behalf. The Holy Spirit does
our praying in, threw and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our
aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our
pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so
sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something
good." - Romans
8:26-28
Praise be to God for caring so much that He gives us help to make it through this journey called life.
If you ever feel like you aren’t worthy enough, remember that Jesus used a bunch of flawed people to share Hope to a flawed world. In HIM we find renewal and mending. Jesus didn’t call the equipped, He equipped the called. And no matter what you’ve been through in life, remember that the same power that conquered the grave lives within you. Romans 8:9-11, Ephesians 1:19-23
