So
Jesus was saying to the Jews who had believed Him, “If you abide in My word
[continually obeying My teachings and living in accordance with them, then] you
are truly My disciples. And you will know the truth [regarding salvation], and
the truth will set you free [from the penalty of sin].” John
8:31-32

Then
Peter, filled with [the power of] the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and
elders of the people [members of the Sanhedrin, the Jewish High Court], if we
are being put on trial today [to interrogate us] for a good deed done to
[benefit] a disabled man, as to how this man has been restored to health, let
it be known and clearly understood by all of you, and by all the people
of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you [demanded
be] crucified [by the Romans and], whom God raised from the dead—in this name
[that is, by the authority and power of Jesus] this man stands here before you
in good health. This Jesus is the stone
which was despised and rejected
by you, the builders, but which became the chief Cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else;
for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by
which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for
salvation].”Acts 4:8-12
SALVATION = preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin or
loss; it is your LIFELINE, redemption, saving help in your time of need;
it is your reclamation by God to Himself as sons and daughters
It is the will of the Heavenly
Father that His children continue the ministry of GOOD NEWS that His Son shared
while He was walking on this earth. Let us look to the Scriptures to learn
about the GOOD NEWS.
So He came to Nazareth, where He had
been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the
Sabbath, and stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to
Him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,
“The
Spirit of the Lord is upon Me (the Messiah),
Because He has anointed Me to preach the
good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to announce release
(pardon, forgiveness) to the captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed
(downtrodden, bruised, crushed by tragedy), to
proclaim the favorable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the
favor of God abound greatly].”
Then He rolled up the scroll [having
stopped in the middle of the verse], gave it back to the attendant and sat down
[to teach]; and the eyes of all those in the synagogue were [attentively] fixed
on Him. He began speaking to them: “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in
your hearing and in your presence.” Luke 4:16-21
When daybreak came, Jesus left
[Simon Peter’s house] and went to a secluded place; and the crowds were
searching for Him, and [they] came to Him and tried to keep Him from leaving
them. But He said, “I
must preach [the good news of] the kingdom of God to the other cities
also, because I was sent for this purpose.” Luke 4:42-43
Jesus said that His followers must go
into ALL the WORLD teaching the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL that He taught the
disciples. He continued to say that ALL {NO EXCEPTIONS HERE} who believe and
are saved shall have everlasting life and ALL {NO EXCEPTIONS HERE} who do NOT
believe will be CONDEMNED!!!
When Jesus gave the great commission
to His followers He told them that because He was going to the FATHER they
would do ALL the works HE did and do even greater. How amazing it to think
about the POWER of the Name of JESUS to NOT only HEAL the BODY, it has the
POWER to completely TRANSFORM a LIFE from BAD to GOOD!!!
“Believe me: I am in my Father and
my Father is in me. If you can’t believe that, believe what you see—these
works. The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater
things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do
that I’ve been doing. You can count on it. From now on, whatever you request
along the lines of who I am and what I am doing, I’ll do it. That’s how the
Father will be seen for who he is in the Son. I mean it. Whatever you request
in this way, I’ll do.” John 14:11-14

You will find in these Words of
Jesus NO WHERE DOES IT SAY you are in REBELLION against GOD it says if you DO
NOT ACCEPT JESUS then you will be in REBELLION against what God wants for your
life.
As a BELIEVER, we know that we are
ALL sinners saved by GRACE through the supreme sacrifice of Christ Jesus on the
Cross of Calvary. Those who have yet to hear the GOOD NEWS of THE GOSPEL have
no idea that they are living in opposition to the God who created them. Once a
person knows the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL it is up to that individual to make
the choice to either BELIEVE and surrender their life for a new one through
Christ Jesus or NOT BELIEVE therefore rendering new life void causing them to
die in their sin condemned to a life separated from the GOD who created them.
Always keep in mind that GOD created
each of different and unique so when we come to know JESUS, He is able to
transform our lives into lives that are ready to do HIS WILL. When it comes to
the SALVATION {RESCUE} of our souls from the enemy of God, we are ALL EQUAL in
the eyes of GOD. You see JESUS said that ALL {that means EVERYONE, not just who
the “CHURCH” thinks is worthy} who come to HIM can be SAVED!!!
For we are His workmanship [His own
master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from
above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which
God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would
walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
Ephesians 2:10
Then He sent them out [on a brief
journey] to preach the kingdom of God and to perform healing. Luke 9:2
This righteousness of God comes
through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and
trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction, since
all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, and are being
justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and
granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] grace, through
the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, whom
God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving]
sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be
received] through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness [which
demands punishment for sin], because in His forbearance [His deliberate
restraint] He passed over the sins previously committed [before Jesus’
crucifixion]. Romans 3:22-25
How wonderful it is to have a LOVING
and CARING GOD who LOVES HIS CREATION so MUCH, that He sent HIS ONLY SON to
bear the weight of the sins of ALL HUMANITY throughout ALL TIME John 3:16-18. When you hear Preachers pounding
those pulpits condemning people to hell just remember the glorious sacrifice
that was made by Christ Jesus for ALL of HUMANITY found in the Gospel {GOOD
NEWS} in Romans 5:8 which reads; “But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the
fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” WOW!!! Isn’t
it amazing that GOD HIMSELF LOVES ALL of HUMANITY even BEFORE they chose to
LOVE HIM so much that HIS SON gave HIS LIFE so we could find NEW LIFE through
HIM. We have a wonderful God in Heaven.
Remember my friends, the RELIGIOUS PEOPLE in the days JESUS was on this earth constantly harassed HIM to
give them PROOF of who HE was and with great humility JESUS just did what the
FATHER in HEAVEN wanted HIM to do throughout HIS Ministry. It ANGERED the
RELIGIOUS MEN so much that JESUS rejected their hypocrisy choosing only
obedience to HIS FATHER, that when it came time to set JESUS free or crucify
HIM, they chose to FREE a MURDERER and have the SAVIOR of their sins CRUCIFIED.
It has always been MANKIND that mocks God NOT the other way around. Don’t take up the BAD HABITS of the CHURCH that has
been passed down from generation to generation, of judging others based on
their FAILING RELIGION. No, instead CHOSE to FOLLOW the EXAMPLE JESUS gave
us and do the WILL of our HEAVENLY FATHER.
To those who have yet to believe in
the transforming POWER of the name of JESUS, the preaching of the Gospel {Good
News} is a stumbling block because it means they can no longer live their life
without JESUS because they will constantly stumble because they have no
ROCK in which to build their life on. Jesus is our CHIEF CORNERSTONE {that ROCK
that keeps us stable} and without HIM we just crumble under the pressures of
this life.
Jews demand signs and Greeks look
for wisdom,but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and
foolishness to Gentiles,but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks,
Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1 Corinthians 1:22-24
For this is contained in Scripture:
“Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen stone, a
precious (honored) Cornerstone,
And he who believes in Him
[whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will never be disappointed [in his expectations].”
This precious value, then, is for
you who believe [in Him as God’s only Son—the Source of salvation]; but for
those who disbelieve, “The [very] stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief Cornerstone,” and, “A
stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”;
for they stumble because they disobey the word [of God], and to this they [who
reject Him as Savior] were also appointed. 1 Peter 2:6-8
My prayer for ALL {LGBTQI+ included} people who
read this is that you will recognize your NEED for a SAVIOR, a CHIEF
CORNERSTONE, and a GOD who loves you just as He created you.
Let there be NO DOUBT in your mind
that GOD LOVED YOU before you ever decided to LOVE HIM and chose HIM as your
Lord and Savior.
May the Peace of our LOVING GOD
direct you in the path of understanding and wisdom so you chose to LIVE and NOT
DIE.
