APOSTASY
But the [Holy]
Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some
will turn away from the faith, paying attention instead to deceitful and
seductive spirits and doctrines of demons, [misled] by the hypocrisy of liars
whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron [leaving them incapable of
ethical functioning], who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from
[certain kinds of] foods which God has created to be gratefully shared by those
who believe and have [a clear] knowledge of the truth. For everything God has
created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with
gratitude; for it is sanctified [set apart, dedicated to God] by means of the

By Pope Francis declaring that ALL RELIGIONS are the same, including the FALSE RELIGIONS in this world, he has declared the SIN of the APOSTATE CHURCH known and worshiped by billions of people called the ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. NO CHURCH in history has invited more witchcraft, false worship of idols, and religions that have NOTHING to do with GOD than the Roman Catholic Church.

says the Lord of hosts, “Do not listen to
the words of the [false] prophets who prophesy to you. They
are teaching you worthless things and
are leading you into futility; they speak a vision of
their own mind and imagination
and not [truth] from the mouth of the Lord. Jeremiah

Haven’t
you fantasized sheer nonsense? Aren’t your sermons tissues of lies, saying ‘God says. . .’ when I’ve done nothing of the kind?
Therefore—and this is the Message of God, the Master, remember—I’m
dead set against prophets who substitute illusions for visions and use sermons
to tell lies. I’m going to ban them from the council of my people, remove them
from membership in Israel, and outlaw them from the land of Israel. Then you’ll

For such men {and women} are counterfeit apostles, deceitful
workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, since Satan himself
masquerades as an angel of light. So it is no great surprise if his servants
also masquerade as servants of righteousness, but their end will correspond
with their deeds.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
The
lies, deceptions, false teaching, idol worship, and worship of false gods have
long been a tradition in the Roman Catholic Church. They have molested children
for ages without any remorse or consequence, which you could compare to those
who sacrificed children to Molech in the Old Testament times found in Leviticus 18:21; 20:2, Psalm 106:37-38, 2 Kings 17:17-18, Jeremiah 7:31; 32:35, Deuteronomy 18:10.
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ. Colossians 2:8
One of the most perverse things the Roman Catholic Church has done is create positions in their church elevating men to godlike status demanding they be called Holy Father, when the Word of God clearly states to call NO MAN FATHER, for there is only ONE who should be called Father and this is your FATHER in HEAVEN.
Do
not call anyone on earth [who guides you
spiritually] your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. Matthew

Perversion of the Gospel
I am astonished and extremely irritated that you are so quickly shifting your allegiance and deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different [even contrary] gospel; which is really not another [gospel]; but there are [obviously] some [people masquerading as teachers] who are disturbing and confusing you [with a misleading, counterfeit teaching] and want to distort the gospel of Christ [twisting it into something which it absolutely is not]. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we [originally] preached to you, let him be condemned to destruction! As we have said before, so I now say again, if anyone is preaching to you a gospel different from that which you received [from us], let him be condemned to destruction! Galatians 1:6-9
Imagery of Apostasy in
the Bible
The Dictionary of Biblical Imagery states
that "There are at least four distinct images in Scripture of the concept
of apostasy. All connote an intentional defection from the faith.” These images
are: Rebellion; Turning
Away; Falling Away; Adultery.
Rebellion
"In
classical literature apostasia
was used to denote a coup or defection. By extension, the Septuagint (the
Greek translation of the Old Testament) always uses this word to portray a
rebellion against God (Joshua 22:22; 2 Chronicles 29:19)."
Turning away
"Apostasy
is also pictured as the heart turning away from God (Jeremiah 17:5–6) and
righteousness (Ezekiel 3:20). In the
OT it centers on Israel's breaking covenant
relationship with God through disobedience to the law (Jeremiah 2:19),
especially following other gods (Judges 2:19) and
practicing their immorality (Daniel 9:9–11). . . .
Following the Lord or journeying with him is one of the chief images of
faithfulness in the Scriptures. . . . The . . . Hebrew root (swr) is used to picture those who
have turned away and ceased to follow God ('I am grieved that I have made Saul
king, because he has turned away from me,' 1 Samuel 15:11). . . .
The image of turning away from the Lord, who is the rightful leader, and
following behind false gods is the dominant image for apostasy in the Old
Testament."
Falling away
"The
image of falling, with the sense of going to eternal destruction, is
particularly evident in the New Testament. . . . In his [Christ’s] parable of
the wise and foolish builder, in which the house built on sand falls with a
crash in the midst of a storm (Matthew 7:24–27) . . . he
painted a highly memorable image of the dangers of falling spiritually."
Adultery
One
of the most common images for apostasy in the Old Testament is adultery.
"Apostasy is symbolized as Israel the faithless spouse turning away from
Yahweh her marriage partner to pursue the advances of other gods (Jeremiah 2:1–3; Ezekiel 16). . .
'Your children have forsaken me and sworn by god that are not gods. I supplied
all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of
prostitutes' (Jeremiah 5:7, NIV).
Adultery is used most often to graphically name the horror of the betrayal and
covenant breaking involved in idolatry. Like literal adultery it does include
the idea of someone blinded by infatuation, in this case for an idol: 'How I
have been grieved by their adulterous hearts . . . which have lusted after
their idols' (Ezekiel 6:9)."
God
gives us the Scriptures to teach us about the EVIL that is in this world and
how to overcome it. Time and again throughout Scripture God tells His children
that He has anointed them and set them apart giving them gifts to help them
discern the EVIL ones who would be teaching FALSE GOSPELS with flattering words
to make them seem like REAL GOSPELS. He lets us know that the closer we live to
HIM the easier it will be to ignore the LIES and DECEPTIONS of the FALSE
TEACHERS.
But
you have an anointing from the Holy One [you have been set apart, specially
gifted and prepared by the Holy Spirit], and all of you know [the truth because
He teaches us, illuminates our minds, and guards us from error]. I
have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do
know it, and because no lie [nothing false, no deception] is of the truth. Who
is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah, the
Anointed)? This is the antichrist [the enemy and antagonist of Christ], the one
who denies and consistently
refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son. Whoever denies and repudiates the Son does not have
the Father; the one who confesses and
acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 1
John 2:20-23
Little children (believers, dear ones),
do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who practices righteousness [the one
who strives to live a consistently honorable life—in private as well as in
public—and to conform to God’s precepts] is righteous, just as He is righteous.
The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and
offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the
devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for
the devil has sinned and
violated God’s law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this
purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God
[deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, because God’s seed
[His principle of life, the essence of His righteous character] remains
[permanently] in him [who is born again—who is reborn from above—spiritually
transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose]; and he [who is born
again] cannot habitually [live
a life characterized by] sin, because he is born of God and longs to please Him. By this the children of God and the
children of the devil are clearly identified: anyone who does not practice
righteousness [who does not seek God’s will in thought, action, and purpose] is
not of God, nor is the one who does not [unselfishly] love his [believing]
brother. 1John
3:7-10
“Be wary of false preachers who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to rip you off some way or other. Don’t be impressed with charisma; look for character. Who preachers are is the main thing, not what they say. A genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or your pocketbook. These diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned.” Matthew 7:15-20 (MSG)
One only needs to look around at all the horrific things happening in our world today to understand that we are indeed living in “DIFFICULT TIMES” found in 2 Timothy 3. We are witnessing the FALL of MANKIND into the abyss of FALSE TEACHINGS from some of the biggest platforms located in the MEGA-CHURCHES in the USA. People are flocking to these services because they are hearing what they want to hear. They are being lulled to sleep by the demonic forces sent forth by Satan to destroy the Church of the Living God. Mankind no longer wants to hear the TRUTH of God’s Word. No, they would rather a Man or Woman stand before them on the FALSE SABBATH DAY and ENTERTAIN them. Satan’s biggest DECEPTION has been to make you “feel good” about yourself while having you forget about the sin in your life that requires a repentant heart that is truly remorseful for disobeying God.
“Difficult Times Will Come”
But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate morally weak and spiritually-dwarfed women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various impulses, always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres [the court magicians of Egypt] opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, unqualified and worthless [as teachers] in regard to the faith. But they will not get very far, for their meaningless nonsense and ignorance will become obvious to everyone, as was that of Jannes and Jambres. 2 Timothy 3:1-9 (AMP)
For the time
will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s
truth]; but wanting to have
their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for
themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own
desires and to support the
errors they hold, and will turn their ears away from the truth
and will wander off into myths and
man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]. 2
Timothy 4:3-4
God is looking for MEN and WOMEN who
will take a stand against the EVIL that is corrupting the BODY of CHRIST by
leading the astray with FALSE TEACHINGS, FALSE MIRACLES and FALSE GODS. He
wants you to know His Word so you will be able to TEST THE SPIRITS and know for
yourself when a FALSE TEACHER or PROPHET comes your way TWISTING the WORD of
GOD until it becomes DOCTRINES of DEMONS instead of the REAL WORD OF GOD!!!
“Preach the Word”
I solemnly charge you in the presence of
God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His
appearing and His kingdom: preach the word [as an official
messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the
opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient,
whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior],
warn [those who sin], exhort and
encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible
patience and [faithful] teaching. For the time will come when
people will not tolerate sound doctrine and
accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled
[with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers
[one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold,
and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will
accept the unacceptable]. But as for you, be clear-headed in every situation
[stay calm and cool and steady], endure every hardship [without flinching], do
the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry. For
I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure
[from this world] is at hand and
I will soon go free. I have fought the good and worthy and
noble fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith [firmly
guarding the gospel against error]. In the future there is reserved for me the
[victor’s] crown of righteousness [for being right with God and doing right],
which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that [great] day—and
not to me only, but also to all those who have loved and longed for and
welcomed His appearing. 2
Timothy 4:1-8
Beloved, do not
believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test
the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the
world. By this you know and
recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges and confesses [the fact] that Jesus
Christ has [actually] come in the flesh [as a man] is from God [God is its source];
and every spirit that does not confess Jesus [acknowledging that He has come in
the flesh, but would deny any of the Son’s true nature] is not of God; this is
the spirit of the antichrist,
which you have heard is coming, and is now already in the world. Little
children (believers, dear ones), you are of God and you belong to Him and have [already] overcome them [the
agents of the antichrist]; because He who is in you is greater than he (Satan)
who is in the world [of sinful mankind]. They [who teach twisted doctrine] are
of the world and belong to it;
therefore they speak from the [viewpoint of the] world [with its immoral
freedom and baseless theories—demanding compliance with their opinions and
ridiculing the values of the upright], and the [gullible one of the] world
listens closely and pays
attention to them. We [who teach God’s word] are from God [energized by the
Holy Spirit], and whoever knows God [through personal experience] listens to us
[and has a deeper understanding of Him]. Whoever is not of God does not listen
to us. By this we know [without any doubt] the spirit of truth [motivated by
God] and the spirit of error [motivated by Satan]. 1
John 4:1-6
The RISE of FALSE PROPHETS
But [in those days] false prophets arose
among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will
subtly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them,
bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways,
and because of them the way of truth will be maligned. And in their greed they will exploit you
with false arguments and
twisted doctrine. Their sentence [of condemnation which God has decreed] from a
time long ago is not idle [but is still in force], and their destruction and deepening misery is not asleep
[but is on its way]. For if God did not [even] spare angels that sinned, but
threw them into hell and sent them to pits of gloom to be kept [there] for
judgment; and if He did not spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a
preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought [the judgment of]
a flood upon the world of the ungodly; and if He condemned the
cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having
made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter; and if He rescued righteous
Lot, who was tormented by the immoral conduct of unprincipled and ungodly men (for that just man,
while living among them, felt his righteous soul tormented day after day by
what he saw and heard of their lawless acts), then [in light
of the fact that all this is true, be sure that] the Lord knows how to rescue
the godly from trial, and how to keep the unrighteous under punishment until
the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge in the corrupt passions
of the sin nature, and despise authority. Presumptuous and reckless, self-willed and
arrogant [creatures, despising the majesty of the Lord], they do not tremble
when they revile angelic majesties, whereas even angels who are superior in might and power do not bring a
reviling (defaming) accusation against them before the Lord. But
these [false teachers], like unreasoning animals, [mere] creatures of instinct,
born to be captured and destroyed, reviling things they do not understand, will
also perish in their own corruption [in their destroying they will be
destroyed], suffering wrong [destined for punishment] as the wages of doing
wrong. They count it a delight to revel in the daytime [living luxuriously].
They are stains and blemishes [on mankind], reveling in their deceptions even
as they feast with you. They have eyes full of adultery,
constantly looking for sin, enticing and
luring away unstable souls. Having hearts trained in greed, [they are] children
of a curse. Abandoning the straight road [that is, the right way to live], they
have gone astray; they have followed the way of [the false teacher] Balaam the
son of Beor, who loved the reward of wickedness; but he was rebuked for his own
transgression: a mute donkey spoke with a man’s voice and restrained the
prophet’s madness. These [false teachers] are springs without water and mists
driven by a tempest, for whom is reserved the gloom of black darkness. For
uttering arrogant words of
vanity [pompous words disguised to sound scholarly or profound, but meaning
nothing and containing no spiritual truth], they beguile and lure using lustful desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape
from the ones who live in error. They promise them liberty, when they
themselves are the slaves of depravity—for by whatever anyone is defeated and overcome, to that [person, thing,
philosophy, or concept] he is continually
enslaved. For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world by
[personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again
entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition has become worse for
them than the first. It would have been better for them not to have
[personally] known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to
have turned back from the holy commandment [verbally] handed on to them. The
thing spoken of in the true proverb has happened to them, “The dog returns to
his own vomit,” and, “A sow is washed only to wallow [again] in the mire.” 2
Peter 2
Look around my Brothers and Sisters in
Christ Jesus and you will see the RISING of the MANY FALSE TEACHERS and FALSE
PROPHETS the Word of God speaks of.
