🏳️‍🌈✝️🔻 Jesus, Do You Care Really Care?

01-16-2019

__________________________________________________________________________________

There  may be times in our life so difficult to understand, that we stop and wonder if Jesus even cares that we are going through this time. Let me give you encouragement today my friend through the Holy Scriptures that He indeed cares about everything you face in life.

Are not two little sparrows sold for a copper coin {Gr assarion, a Roman coin equal to a 16th of a denarius (the denarius was counted as a day’s wages for an unskilled worker)}? And yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered [for the Father is sovereign and has complete knowledge]. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.
He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” Mark 4:35-41

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honor in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully]. 1 Peter 5:6-7

God proved His love the children of Israel when they were slaves in Egypt by multiplying their numbers and freeing them from their bondage. He even showed how much He cared for them when they were in the wilderness by feeding them and giving them drink. Even through all the complaining God NEVER quit loving and caring for them. Read the books of Exodus, Numbers and Deuteronomy to witness the love God had for His people.

In every situation that comes up in your life, if you will keep your eyes on your Heavenly Father, you will find peace and rest.

Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. Philippians 4:6-7

For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him. Whoever believes and has decided to trust in Him [as personal Savior and Lord] is not judged [for this one, there is no judgment, no rejection, no condemnation]; but the one who does not believe [and has decided to reject Him as personal Savior and Lord] is judged already [that one has been convicted and sentenced], because he has not believed and trusted in the name of the [One and] only begotten Son of God [the One who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, the One who alone can save him]. John 3:16-18

God’s loving grace will be with those who commit to Him so they may withstand the tormentors Satan sends to try and defeat you and wear you down.

Because of the surpassing greatness and extraordinary nature of the revelations [which I received from God], for this reason, to keep me from thinking of myself as important, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan, to torment and harass me—to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me; but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. 2 Corinthians 12:6-9

Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).
Psalm 55:22

Then Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid! Take your stand [be firm and confident and undismayed] and see the salvation of the Lord which He will accomplish for you today; for those Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see again. Exodus 14:13

This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:14-15

More Scriptures showing you just how much the Lord God of Heaven and Earth LOVES and CARES for HIS CREATION:

God’s love for His Children is so dear and near to Him that He has called each of us the “Apple of His Eye”.

The phrase apple of my eye refers to something or someone that one cherishes above all others. As the apple of God’s eye we function as the window through which God pours His light out into this world. It is therefore important to keep that window clean from impurity so God can shine His light of love through you to all you come in contact with.

For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you—for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye. Zechariah 2:8

Let Your Heavenly Father know each day, as David did in Psalm 17 how much you Trust in Him to help you fight the enemies of this world.

Keep me [in Your affectionate care, protect me] as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me in the [protective] shadow of Your wings Psalm 17:8

God desires that we too keep Him and His commandments as close to us as the “Apple of our eye”. He wants you and I to put all our Faith and Trust in Him and in turn He will keep watch over us and protect us on our journey through this life.

Keep my commandments and live,
And keep my teaching and law as the apple of your eye. Proverbs 7:2

“He found him in a desert land,
In the howling wasteland of a wilderness;
He kept circling him, He took care of him,
He protected him as the apple of His eye.

“As an eagle that protects its nest,
That flutters over its young,
He spread out His wings and took them,
He carried them on His pinions.

“So the Lord alone led him;
There was no foreign god with him. Deuteronomy 32:10-12

It is my prayer that each of you will come to know God and Jesus on a personal level so you may experience the love of a Father and Savior that never leaves you but is always there to gently guide you and protect you on your journey through this life on earth.

Always in Christ Jesus service,
