Let no one in
any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless
the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the
faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son
of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], who
opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called
god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in
the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.

Events that must come to pass according to
this prophesy that will usher in the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ:
1.
A Falling Away “Now in regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
and our gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, brothers and
sisters, not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called
prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from
us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come. Let
no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come
unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment
of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed,
the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be
destroyed]” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 AMP
2.
First, the “man
of sin” would be revealed to perform the act of standing up in the Holy of
Holies of the Jewish Temple, claiming to be God: “Who opposes and exalts
himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (II Thessalonians 2:4 AMP).
3.
Many will come in the name of Christ proclaiming they are the Christ,
wars and rumors of wars, nation will rise against nation, there will be famines
and earthquakes where there has never been, believers will be put to death,
many will fall away and become full of lawlessness, the GOOD NEWS of the Gospel
will be preached in ALL the world, the Abomination of Desolation will take
place and many false Christ’s and false prophets will appear {under Satanic
rule} with great signs and wonders that will almost full the very elect of
God. {Matthew 24 AMP}
Pharisaism Exposed
Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and Pharisees have seated themselves in Moses’ chair [of authority as teachers of the Law]; so practice and observe everything they tell you, but do not do as they do; for they preach [things], but do not practice them. The scribes and Pharisees tie up heavy loads [that are hard to bear] and place them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves will not lift a finger [to make them lighter]. They do all their deeds to be seen by men; for they make their phylacteries (tefillin) wide [to make them more conspicuous] and make their tassels long. They love the place of distinction and honor at feasts and the best seats in the synagogues [those on the platform near the scrolls of the Law, facing the congregation], and to be greeted [with respect] in the market places and public forums, and to have people call them Rabbi. But do not be called Rabbi (Teacher); for One is your Teacher, and you are all [equally] brothers. Do not call anyone on earth [who guides you spiritually] your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. Do not let yourselves be called leaders or teachers; for One is your Leader (Teacher), the Christ. But the greatest among you will be your servant. Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be raised to honor.
We are witnessing a time when
“Ministers of God” are more about putting on a show to draw large crowds, than
teaching the actual Word of God. These men and women are only looking out for
themselves. They are gathering for themselves great riches including material
things that will NOT stand the test of time. These men and women are just like
those Pharisee’s who felt they were better than the common person. Thousands of
FALSE teachers and preachers are leading the people in their congregations
straight to hell with twisted scriptures and stories that please the flesh
while the spirit continues to die.
Eight Woes that will come upon these
FALSE TEACHERS
1. But woe (judgment is coming) to you, [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven in front of people
2. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you swallow up widows’ houses, and to cover it up you make long prayers
3. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel over sea and land to make a single convert, only to make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.
4. “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears [an oath] by the sanctuary of the temple, that is nothing (non-binding); but whoever swears [an oath] by the gold of the temple is obligated [bound as a debtor].’
5. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you give a tenth (tithe) of what you have [focusing on minor matters], and have neglected the weightier [more important moral and spiritual] provisions of the Law [ignoring and violating God’s precepts]!
6. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the plate, but inside they are full of extortion and robbery and self-indulgence (unrestrained greed).
7. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which look beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean.
8. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build tombs for the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, saying, ‘If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have joined them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’
Do not be like the Modern Pharisee’s
who teach WEALTH and POWER. Learn to be more like JESUS the Savior of your
Soul.
