Let no one in
any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless
the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the
faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son
of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], who
opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called
god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in
the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.

But
the [Holy] Spirit explicitly and unmistakably declares that in later times some will turn away from the faith,
paying attention instead to deceitful and seductive spirits and
doctrines of demons, [misled]
by the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared as with a branding iron
[leaving them incapable of ethical functioning 1Timothy 4:1-5
Difficult
Times Ahead
But understand this, that in the last days
dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that
will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic,
self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant,
revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and
they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and
inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control
[intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited,
lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of
[outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their
conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far
away from them. For among them are those who worm their way
into homes and captivate morally weak and spiritually-dwarfed
women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various
impulses, always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them,
but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and
Jambres [the court magicians of Egypt] opposed Moses, so these men also
oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, unqualified and worthless [as
teachers] in regard to the faith. 2 Timothy 3:1-9
Preach the
Word
For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold, and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]. But as for you, be clear-headed in every situation, endure every hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry. 2 Timothy 4:1-4
The biggest
names in the Evangelical world running the “biggest” church rarely even use
Scripture anymore while preaching. Instead they are talking about how to be the
“BEST” you now, teaching how great it is to have lots of money { Matthew 6:24-34}, they have become Modern Pharisees whom God has
revealed in His Word will suffer many “woes”. In order for the TRUE BELIEVERS
to identify these men and women all you need to do is look to the Word of God
in Matthew 23:13-33:
Instructions to Those Who
MinisterThese are the things you are to teach and insist on. If anyone teaches otherwise and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, they are conceited and understand nothing. They have an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain. We brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1Timothy 6:3-12
Take care and be on guard for yourselves and for the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd (tend, feed, guide) the church of God which He bought with His own blood. I know that after I am gone, [false teachers like] ferocious wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; even from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse and distorted things, to draw away the disciples after themselves [as their followers]. Acts 20:28-30
Be wary of false preachers who smile a lot,
dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to rip you off some
way or other. Don’t be impressed with charisma; look for character. Who
preachers are is the main thing, not what they say. A genuine leader
will never exploit your emotions or your pocketbook. These diseased trees with
their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned. Matthew 7:15-20
Take time to
really study these Scriptures about FALSE TEACHERS, PREACHERS and PROPHETS.
Read the whole chapter {example Ezekiel 13:9 you would read Ezekiel 13}
Live your life
as close to the example of Christ Jesus as humanly possible so you will be
deemed worthy to enter ETERNAL LIFE. Do all you can to NOT be like the Modern
Pharisee’s who are leading the “Church” astray!
