If the
“RELIGION” you follow teaches there is another way to God other than Christ
Jesus you are following a FALSE/PAGAN RELIGION that will lead to your eternal
separation from God

No
matter what is going on around you, what hardships you may be facing if you
remember to PRAY asking God to have His perfect will; you can rest assured He
will bring you through every trial that comes your way.
Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be
unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what
the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God;
for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
The Greek word for “without ceasing” in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 is adialeiptos, which doesn't
mean nonstop — but actually means constantly recurring.
While you read through this devotional remember that
JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY WAY to the FATHER and the ONLY WAY to BE SAVED. There
are NOT many different ways to be SAVED or communicate with the HEAVENLY
FATHER!!!
With that, Peter, full of the Holy Spirit, let
loose: “Rulers and leaders of the people, if we have been brought to trial
today for helping a sick man, put under investigation regarding this healing,
I’ll be completely frank with you—we have nothing to hide. By the name of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth, the One you killed on a cross, the One God raised from the
dead, by means of his name this man stands before you healthy and whole. Jesus
is ‘the stone you masons threw out, which is now the cornerstone.’ Salvation
comes no other way; no other name has been or will be given to us by which we
can be saved, only this one.” Acts 4:8-12
“Also, when
you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to pray [publicly] standing in the synagogues and on the
corners of the streets so that they may be seen by men. I assure you and
most solemnly say to you, they [already] have their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your most private room,
close the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who
sees [what is done] in secret will reward you. And when you pray, do not use
meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard
because of their many words. So
do not be like them [praying as they do]; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. Pray, then, in this way: Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in
heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment].And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For
Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]” Matthew 6:5-13
“This
is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled
to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is,
consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. And if we know [for a fact,
as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we
[also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us]
the requests which we have asked from Him.” 1 John 5:14-15
“Do
not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every
circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue
to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace
which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding,
[that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
[is yours].” Philippians 4:6-7
{Father of Lies}
They
answered, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you are [truly]
Abraham’s children, then do the works of Abraham and follow his example.
But as it is, you want to kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth, which I
heard from God. This is not the way Abraham acted. You are doing the works of
your [own] father.” They said to Him, “We are not illegitimate children; we
have one [spiritual] Father: God.” Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father
[but He is not], you would love and recognize Me, for I came from God
[out of His very presence] and have arrived here. For I have not even
come on My own initiative [as self-appointed], but He [is the One who] sent Me.
Why do you misunderstand what I am saying? It is because [your spiritual ears
are deaf and] you are unable to hear [the truth of] My word. You are of your
father the devil, and it is your will to practice the desires [which are
characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does
not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he
speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar and the father of lies and
half-truths. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me [and continue
in your unbelief]. Which one of you [has proof and] convicts Me of sin? If I
speak truth, why do you not believe Me? Whoever is of God and belongs to
Him hears [the truth of] God’s words; for this reason you do not hear them:
because you are not of God and you are not in fellowship with Him.” John 8:39-47
“Believe
Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe [Me]
because of the [very] works themselves [which you have witnessed]. I assure you
and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will
also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in
extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever
you ask in My name [as My representative], this I will do, so that the Father
may be glorified and celebrated in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My
name [as My representative], I will do it.” John 14:11-14
Here
are some specific Scripture verses telling us that we are not to attempt to
commune with the dead. The clue is in the word “medium” or “spiritualist.” A
medium is one who attempts to call up the dead in order for that person to be
able to communicate with that dead person. This is what you call a basic
séance.
There are several well know mediums right now who are all
over the place on TV actually doing séances for people to try and reach their
dead loved ones. If God the Father is condemning this kind of activity as you
will see in the following verses – then I also believe that you can extrapolate
on this and assume that God does not want you trying to communicate direct with
the dead even on your own.
If God does not want a medium trying to contact the dead
for you – then I also believe it is safe to assume that God does not want you
trying to contact the dead through any kind of prayer effort on your own. When
you start trying to pray to a dead saint, you are attempting to try and
communicate directly with the one you are praying to.
Bottom line:
·
God
the Father is the only One who has the full supernatural power to answer any of
our specific prayer requests.
·
God
has it set up through His Son’s death on the cross that we are to approach His
throne and His throne alone, with any of our specific prayer requests. He does
not want us going to anyone else, either in heaven above or on this earth.
Who is the one who
condemns us? Christ Jesus is the One who died [to pay our penalty], and more than
that, who was raised [from the dead], and who is at the right hand of God
interceding [with the Father] for us. Romans 8:34
First of all, then, I
urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for
others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all
who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and
quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This [kind of praying] is good and
acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wishes all
people to be saved and to come to the knowledge and recognition of the
[divine] truth. For there is [only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between
God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom [a
substitutionary sacrifice to atone] for all, the testimony given at the right and
proper time. 1Timothy 2:1-6
We can ask others down
here to pray for us and with us, to pray in agreement with us, but we are not
to pray direct to any human down here for them to actually answer any of our
specific prayers.
“Again I say to you, that
if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about
anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My
Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
Is anyone among you sick? He must call for the
elders (spiritual leaders) of the church and they are to pray over him,
anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will
restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has
committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one
another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you
may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of
a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made
effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. Elijah was a man
with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual
limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed intensely for it not to rain, and
it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed
again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual]. James 5:14-18
So if it would be
ridiculous for us to pray to someone else down here on this earth to actually
answer any of our specific prayers, then it only stands to reason that it would
be just as ridiculous to pray direct to a dead saint up in heaven to answer any
of our specific prayers.
Here are 4 very good
verses specifically telling us that we are not to have anything to do with
“mediums” or the “calling up of the dead.”
Notice
the words “calls up the dead,” and the statement that God makes that this
practice is an abomination in His eyes! When you are attempting to call up the
dead, you are attempting to try and directly communicate with them.
A man or woman who is a medium [who pretends to consult the
dead] or who is a spiritist shall most certainly be put to death, and be stoned
with stones; their blood is on them. Leviticus
20:27
Notice that God uses the word “prostitute” as an analogy.
You are prostituting yourself against God when you start seeking supernatural
help or guidance from anyone else but Him!
King Saul got into big trouble with God {1
Samuel 31} when he asked a witch to call up the prophet Samuel who had
already died. He literally incurred the wrath of God when he did this, and this
eventually led to his downfall and early death.
Notice the verse says that the reason Saul was trying to
call up Samuel was for guidance. Instead of going direct to God the Father for
the guidance that he needed, he tries to contact one of God’s dead saints.
Samuel was a great man and a great prophet of God, but God wanted Saul to come
directly to Him for any guidance that he did need, not to a dead saint!
This
story is a perfect example showing that we are to go directly to God the Father
if we need any help with anything, not to any dead saints who are living up in
heaven.
Even
though some people are not consulting mediums when they are trying to pray to
dead saints, I believe they are still trying to communicate directly with them
through their direct prayer efforts and they are thus violating a basic direct
commandment from the Lord on this issue.
When you enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you, you
shall not learn to imitate the detestable (repulsive) practices of those
nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or
daughter pass through the fire [as a sacrifice], one who uses divination and
fortune-telling, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or
a sorcerer, or one who casts a charm or spell, or a medium, or a
spiritualist, or a necromancer [who seeks the dead]. For everyone who does
these things is utterly repulsive to the Lord;
and because of these detestable practices the Lord
your God is driving them out before you. Deuteronomy
18:9-12
Many times, the medium is literally taken
over by a demonic spirit masquerading as a dear, departed, loved one, and a
demon is literally speaking through the medium’s vocal cords imitating the
departed love one.
Do NOT fall for the “TRADITIONS” of a RELIGION that teaches
anything other than CHRIST JESUS as the ONLY MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD and
MAN!!!
Even when an angel of the Lord appeared
to John in the vision of Revelation, he FORBID John to bow before him because
he was a servant of GOD NOT to be WORSHIPED!!!
Then the angel said to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those who
are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.’” And he said to me [further],
“These are the true and exact words of God.” Then I fell down at his
feet to worship him, but he [stopped me and] said to me, “You must not do that;
I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers and sisters who have and
hold the testimony of Jesus. Worship God [alone]. For the testimony of Jesus is
the spirit of prophecy [His life and teaching are the heart of prophecy].” Revelation
19:9-10
We are to bow to NO MAN or GRAVEN IMAGE of ANYKIND. Humans
are God’s creation and we were created to Worship and be in fellowship with
God. God commands that we make NO GRAVEN IMAGE into the likeness of mankind or
beast.
When Peter arrived, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his
feet and worshiped him. But Peter raised him up, saying, “Stand up; I
too am only a man.” Acts

You shall not make for yourself any idol, or any likeness
(form, manifestation) of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in
the water under the earth [as an object to worship]. Exodus

And I’m not changing my position
on this. I’d die before taking your money. I’m giving nobody grounds for
lumping me in with those money-grubbing “preachers,” vaunting themselves as
something special. They’re a sorry bunch—pseudo-apostles, lying preachers,
crooked workers—posing as Christ’s agents but sham to the core. And no wonder!
Satan does it all the time, dressing up as a beautiful angel of light. So it
shouldn’t surprise us when his servants masquerade as servants of God. But
they’re not getting by with anything. They’ll pay for it in the end. 2
Corinthians 11:12-15
When you bow before an image of a “Saint, Mary or any
statue made in the image of mankind or beast”, you are guilty of IDOL WORSHIP
and become an enemy of GOD PERIOD!!!
For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is
revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in
their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth, because that which is
known about God is evident within them [in their inner consciousness], for God
made it evident to them. For ever since the creation of the world His invisible
attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being
understood through His workmanship [all His creation, the wonderful things that
He has made], so that they [who fail to believe and trust in Him] are without
excuse and without defense. For even though they knew God [as the
Creator]; they did not honor Him as God or give thanks [for His wondrous creation].
On the contrary, they became worthless in their thinking [godless, with
pointless reasoning’s, and silly speculations], and their foolish heart was
darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory and
majesty and excellence of the immortal God for an image [worthless
idols] in the shape of mortal man and birds and four-footed animals and
reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their own hearts to
[sexual] impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them
[abandoning them to the degrading power of sin], because [by choice] they
exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature
rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. Romans

He also removed the foreign gods and the idol from the
house of the Lord, as well as all
the altars which he had built on the mountain of the house of the Lord and in Jerusalem; and he threw them
outside the city. 2

You shall not make idols for yourselves, nor shall you
erect an image, a sacred pillar or an obelisk, nor shall you place any
figured stone in your land so that you may bow down to it; for I am the Lord your God. Leviticus

Praying to Mary and other dead saints is not biblical and
praying to anyone other than God is idolatry. To bow down to a statue or
painting and pray to it is evil and it is forbidden in Scripture. When
confronted some Catholics say we don’t pray to them, but we ask them to pray
for us. I’ve talked to Catholics who actually told me they pray directly to
Mary.
Nowhere in Scripture does it say pray to dead saints.
Nowhere in Scripture does it say ask dead saints to pray for you.
Pray, then, in this way: Our Father, who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name. Matthew

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let
petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your
concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming
together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens
when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. Philippians
4:6-7
Let us test and examine our ways, and let us return to the Lord. Let us lift up our hearts and our

Speaking with the dead in Scripture is always associated with sorcery.
Nowhere does it say that people in Heaven will pray for people on
earth. Alive Christians on earth can pray for you, but dead people will not
pray to God for you and you can’t find any passage to justify this.
Why
pray to the dead when you can pray to God? It’s a terrible and evil thing to
pray to Mary, but Catholics even worship Mary more than they do Jesus.
The Lord will not share His glory with anyone. They will do
all they can to justify rebellion, but Catholicism continues to put many people
on the road to hell.
Remember this Children of God, Heirs and joint heirs with
Jesus Christ {Romans
8:15-17}, it is Satan’s desire to PERVERT the WORD of GOD to the point that
even the very chosen ones of God might fall for his lies if they were not
rooted and grounded in God’s TRUTH!!!
Be
sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all
times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion
[fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. 1
Peter 5:8
The Catholic Religion is a False Religion used by Satan to
usher in the “One World Church”, which he is currently doing in FAST FORWARD.
Satan has been preparing the Catholic Religion for years to be the Church that
is actually ANTI-GOD becoming the Church that allows ALL RELIGIONS to be practiced
as you can witness by the Pope worshipping the sun. This Religion has disguised
itself as a Religion of LIGHT just as their god, Satan is the Angel of Light
{And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 2

Bible verses about graven images
The
Second Commandment is thou shalt not make any graven image. It is idolatry to
worship false gods or the true God by statues or pictures. First, no one knows
how Jesus looks like so how can you make an image of him? Right away you see when Catholics bow down and pray
to images of Mary it is idolatry. God is not wood, stone, or metal and
he will not be worshipped as if he was a man-made item.
God is extremely serious when it comes to idols. There will
be a day when many people who claim to be Christian will be caught lacking and
will be thrown into hell for their blatant idolatry against God. Do not be that
person who tries to twist Scripture and find any way possible to do something
that is not supposed to be done. Nobody wants to listen to the truth anymore,
but always remember God will not be mocked.

FALSE teachings. Satan is using music to prepare the souls of men and women to
accept the FALSE teachings. The “church” has turned from PREACHING and TEACHING
to TRUTH of GOD’S Word. They now have ENTERTAINMENT SESSIONS cleverly disguised
as “Worship”. The FALSE worship is glorifying the ego of man giving Satan all
the glory instead of truly worshipping the Creator God. Witchcraft is being
used in many churches to lure people into dark places of despair. These FALSE
teachers and preachers are SMILING all the way to the bank because they got
away with using RELIGIOUS teachings to ROB you of your money.
Be wary of false preachers
who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to
rip you off some way or other. Don’t be impressed with charisma; look for
character. Who preachers are is the main thing, not what they say. A
genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or your pocketbook. These
diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned. Matthew

treasures for yourself using God as an ATM machine for all you want instead of
what you need. The Leaders of these massive churches “Mega Churches” are
greedy, boastful, arrogant, unholy, calloused and inhumane. They are only in
the “Church BIZ” because it is easy TAX FREE MONEY. These “men and women of
God” leading these Mega’s are living the high life with high dollar wardrobes,
fancy cars and mansions. They are living the EXACT OPPOSITE LIFE that JESUS
commanded HIS messengers to live. They are no better than the magicians that
came against Moses mentioned in the Book of Exodus.
But understand this,
that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come
[difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self
[narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful,
arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and
profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection,
calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of
self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors,
reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God,
holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied
its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people
and keep far away from them. For among them are those who worm their way
into homes and captivate morally weak and spiritually-dwarfed
women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various
impulses, always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them,
but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and
Jambres [the court magicians of Egypt] opposed Moses, so these men also
oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, unqualified and worthless [as
teachers] in regard to the faith. But they will not get very far, for their
meaningless nonsense and ignorance will become obvious to everyone, as
was that of Jannes and Jambres. 2
Timothy 3:1-9
In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength
from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His
[boundless] might. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the
splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to
[successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and
the deceits of the devil. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood
[contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the
powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the
spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.
Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to
[successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger],
and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your
place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. So stand firm and hold
your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth
(personal integrity, moral courage) around
your waist and having put on the
breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation
[to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the
good news]. Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you
can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword
of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. With all prayer and petition pray
[with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season]
in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and
petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people. Ephesians
6:10-18
I pray you will NO LONGER be lead by FAKE
MINISTERS who twist the Word of God to fit their earthly pleasures. Instead be
led by the HOLY SPIRIT into the TRUTH of GOD’S WORD learning how to be the
person who pleases God.
