🏳️‍🌈✝️πŸ”» Exchanging the FEAR in your life for the PEACE of God through living committed to Christ Jesus

Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides]. James 1:2-8

For so many people FEAR is a very real and damaging reality. Growing up in a home that does not teach the principles of Truth from God’s Word creates adults who have nothing to TRUST in when FEAR comes in like a flood. If you have experienced something fearful in your life then you know exactly how someone feels when FEAR is all they know. No matter where you are right now in your life, if FEAR is something you are dealing with let me encourage you to READ these passages of Scripture to learn how to LET GO of the FEAR in exchange for PEACE.

1. Proverbs 3:5-6  Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

2. Isaiah 41:10  So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

3. Joshua 1:9  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

4. Psalm 56:3  But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.

5. Matthew 6:25-30  Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

6. Matthew 6:33-34  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

7. 2 Timothy 1:7  For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

8. John 14:27  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

9. Romans 8:15  The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”

10. Hebrews 11  Through FAITH you will not FEAR what others think or do, you will do what pleases your Father in Heaven.

11. Proverbs 28:1  The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

12. Psalm 34:4  I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

13. Philippians 4:6-7  Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

As you can see FEAR is real and it can ruin your journey in this life if you let it overtake you.

We, however were NOT created to live in FEAR but to live in PERFECT PEACE found only through a personal relationship with CHRIST JESUS.

I have always found that letting the Word of God speak to another's heart and circumstance is so much more healthy and healing than any words I could possible come up with to say.

It is my duty as a Minister of the Word of God to bring you to the Word and let the Holy Spirit guide you through it with truth and understanding.

Now read the promises of God’s Word to those who chose to follow Christ Jesus letting Him guide them through this life journey of Highs and Lows. If you chose to let Christ Jesus be the Lord of your life regardless of life circumstances you will find comfort, refuge, hope, victory, spiritual well-being, tranquility, order and even prosperity.

Peace of God

Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. 2 Thessalonians 3:16

And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. Philippians 4:7

You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. Isaiah 26:3

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] John 16:33

I will also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down and there will be no one to make you afraid. I will also eliminate harmful animals from the land, and no sword will pass through your land. Leviticus 26:6

But the humble will [at last] inherit the land and will delight themselves in abundant prosperity and peace. Psalm 37:11

He has redeemed my life in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me. Psalm 55:18

My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life [worth living] and tranquility and prosperity [the wholeness of life’s blessings] they will add to you. Proverbs 3:1-2

God is not a God of confusion and disorder but a of Peace and Order 1 Corinthians 14:33

Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. Colossians 3:15

As you can see my friends FEAR does NOT stand a chance of survival once you open up your heart to Christ Jesus and let His PERFECT PEACE fill you up.

The next time this world with all its Fear and Anxiety try to overtake you, remind yourself that Jesus OVERCAME this world and He gives you the STRENGTH to do the same.

Have a Blessed and PEACEFUL day,

Rainbow Pastor David
