illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of

Here are just a couple of things you
must know about SATAN and how he uses MANKIND to create a FALSE GOSPEL which
many of today’s “ROCK STAR” ministry performers are doing in the name of GOD.
He masquerades in costumes
of light and righteousness. He lead the music ministry in heaven.
‘Your pomp and
magnificence have been brought down to Sheol, Along with the music of your
harps; The maggots [which prey on the dead] are spread
out under you [as a bed]
And worms are your covering [Babylonian rulers].’ Isaiah 14:11

In 2 Corinthians 11:13–15, Paul says that some people are posing as
apostles who are not. He explains like this: “Even Satan disguises himself as
an angel of light. So it is not strange if his servants also disguise
themselves as servants of righteousness.”
In other words, Satan has servants who profess enough truth to join the
church, and from inside teach what Paul calls “doctrines of demons” (1Timothy 4:1). Jesus says they will be like wolves in
sheep’s clothing (Matthew 7:15). Acts 20:30 says they will not spare the flock, but
will draw people away to destruction. Without God’s gift of discernment (Philippians 1:9), our love will be suckered into
stupidity.
Satan does signs and
wonders.
In 2 Thessalonians 2:9, the last days are described like this:
“The coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan will be with all power,
and with signs and wonders of the lie.” That’s my awkward translation.
Some translate it “with false signs and wonders.” But this makes the signs and
wonders look unreal. In fact, some people do say that Satan can only fake
miracles. I doubt it. And even if it’s true, his fake is going to be good
enough to look real to almost everybody.
“God intends that part of our
preparation for heaven be a life of warfare with hell.”
One reason I doubt that Satan can only fake his miracles is that in Matthew 24:24 Jesus describes the last days like this:
“False Christ’s and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders,
so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” There is no hint that these
“signs and wonders” will be tricks.
Let your confidence be grounded in something far deeper than any
supposed inability of Satan to do signs and wonders. Even real signs and
wonders in the service of anti-Christian assertions, prove nothing, even when
they are done “in the name of Jesus.” “Lord, Lord, did we not do many mighty
works in your name?” To which Jesus will reply, “I never knew you; depart from
me, you workers of lawlessness” (Matthew 7:22–23). The problem was not that the signs and
wonders weren’t real, but that they were in the service of sin.
Carl Lentz – “The cool Jesus teacher” of
Hillsong New York follows right along the heels of his leader Brian Houston in
promoting the “Prosperity Message” to the people in the USA as they are doing
worldwide.
"It's a prosperity movement for the Millennials, in which
the polyester and middle-class associations of Oral Roberts have
given way to ripped jeans and sophisticated rock music," R. Albert Mohler
Jr., the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, told the New
York Times in 2014. "What has made Hillsong distinctive is a minimization
of the actual content of the Gospel, and a far more diffuse presentation of
spirituality."
Brian Houston - Put God first in your finance
“Well, if we want to prosper, and we want all the
right things to prosper in our life, by all means! I’ve personally, (and this
is a big statement, and I know I’ve said it before), but personally, I don’t think
you can be in the will of God and not put Him first in your finances. I
think I make some people mad when I say it, but I actually believe it. I
actually believe that you can’t be right with God if you don’t get that basic
right. That foundation right.” – Brian Houston
This teaching is in DIRECT
CONTRAST with the Word of God, which calls this kind of thinking “SALVATION BY
WORKS. If the Spirit is conforming us to the image of Jesus, then shouldn’t we
view money the way Jesus did as “unrighteous wealth” {Luke 16:9-15} and “deceitfulness of riches” {Mark 4:18-19}
They lure you in with loud music and a
light show working your flesh as you get hyped up on the music and dancing. 2
Corinthians 11:13
The teaching of Brian Houston and Carl Lentz just happened to be TOTALLY OPPOSITE of what JESUS CHRIST teaches.
You best believe
these men and their wives are raking in the money at the expense of the people
just like we have been warned about in Matthew
7:15-20 Ephesians
6:11
“Be wary of
false preachers who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are
they are out to rip you off some way or other. Don’t be impressed with
charisma; look for character. Who preachers are is the main thing, not
what they say. A genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or your
pocketbook. These diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped
down and burned.”
Put on the full armor
of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed
soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the
schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. Ephesians
6:11
We are living
and witnessing the time when people no longer want to hear the TRUTH. They
would rather feast on JUNK FOOD and die in their sins.
For the time
will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate
instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have
their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for
themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own
desires and to support the errors they hold, and will turn their ears
away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions
[and will accept the unacceptable]. 2 Timothy 4:3-4

and Carl Lentz may appear to some as genuine men of God; however when one looks
past the outward appearance and look at the hearts they will find vile men who
are seeking to fill this pockets so they can live “The Dream” here on earth.
For such men are
counterfeit apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.
And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. So
it is no great surprise if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness,
but their end will correspond with their deeds. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
I am astonished and
extremely irritated that you are so quickly shifting your allegiance and
deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different [even
contrary] gospel; which is really not another [gospel];
but there are [obviously] some [people masquerading as teachers] who are
disturbing and confusing you [with a misleading, counterfeit teaching]
and want to distort the gospel of Christ [twisting it into something which it
absolutely is not]. Galatians
1:6-7
Men like these two remind me of the “RICH” young ruler who asked JESUS what he lacked; Jesus told him to sell everything he had, give it to the poor and he would have treasure in heaven and to follow Jesus trusting in Him. The young “Rich” ruler became distressed and grieved because he owned much property and was very wealthy. When the young ruler walked away Jesus told those around him that is easier to fit a camel through the eye of the needle {which is a small opening in a wall in Jerusalem} than it would be for a “RICH” man to enter heaven. Matthew 19:16-30
Because men like
these two and many other church leaders who have accumulated much wealth from
the TAX FREE scams they are running; Jesus said these types of leaders will NOT
ENTER the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. In fact Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord,
Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My
Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day [when I judge them], ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
Your name, and driven out demons in Your name, and done many miracles in Your
name?’ And then I will declare to them
publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who
act wickedly
[disregarding My commands].’
The Word of God says in Matthew
6:16-21: “Do not store up for
yourselves [material] treasures
on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But
store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust
destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart
[your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also.”
The words John wrote in 3 John 1 can still be applied to our lives today.
God wants us to prosper and succeed and be in good health, just as your soul
prospers [spiritually]. He was NOT saying that we need to have EARTHLY WEALTH
as the “prosperity” preachers would have you believe. He was encouraging those
who followed the teachings of JESUS CHRIST to keep up the good work they were
doing.
We can find numerous examples of individuals in the Gospels
for whom wealth was a spiritual stumbling block, including:
- the Pharisees “who were lovers of money” (Luke 16:14)
- the money changers in the temple (see Matt. 21:12-13)
- Judas Iscariot (see Matt. 26:14-16; John 12:4-6)
"No one can serve two masters. For you
will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other.
You cannot serve both God and money." (NLT, Luke 16:13)
What good will
it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can
a man give in exchange for his soul? (NIV, Matthew 16:26)
Those who want to get rich fall into
temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge
people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people,
eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many
griefs. (TNIV, 1Timothy 6:9-11, emphasis added)
Let me show you in their words how these
men feel about WEALTH and POVERTY.
“What good is a vow of poverty?” Brian Houston answered one naysayer in 2005.
“A person who has more is able to help more. That’s what we are all about,
giving people a handout.”
“If you go down that road you simply cannot be poor
enough for some people,” Hillsong NYC Pastor Carl Lentz told CNN. “Well, you can
drive that car but not that car. But we’re never going to cater to that mindset
of people trying to tell us how to live.”
Despite the Bible's many warnings against it, the idea that wealth is a sign of God's favor and that the poor have done something to deserve their condition persists as an undercurrent today that is sometimes used to justify a callous attitude toward those who are poor.

A hot pastor covered in tattoos gets onstage to a rock introduction to
preach an anti-Kennedy gospel: Ask not what you can do for God — ask what God
can do for you.
"We don't use the word 'religion,' because it's hard to get people
excited about religion," says Carl Lentz, 35, the pastor of this Megachurch
for Millennials. "Religion is dead. I don't know anything about religion,
I couldn't help you. Religion has no power. But a relationship with God is a
superpower."
RELIGION is NOT DEAD. Carl is teaching a FALSE GOSPEL and if you pay
attention to his words you will see he is NOT a true man of God.
Look with me now
in the Gospel of James
1:27: Pure and unblemished religion [as it
is expressed in outward acts] in the sight of our God and Father is this: to
visit and look after the fatherless and the widows in their distress,
and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the [secular] world.
“You know you're hearing from God when you don't walk away with facts but
you walk away with faith.”

So now we have
Carl Lentz teaching the EXACT OPPOSITE of the Word of God which clearly says
the facts {preaching the message of JESUS} leads people to have FAITH.
So faith comes
from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching
of the] message concerning Christ. Romans

But evil men and impostors will go on
from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But
as for you, continue in the things that you have learned and of which you are
convinced [holding tightly to the truths], knowing from whom you learned them,
and how from childhood you have known the sacred
writings (Hebrew Scriptures) which are able to give you the wisdom that leads
to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus [surrendering your entire
self to Him and having absolute confidence in His wisdom, power and goodness]. All
Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for
instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration
to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to
God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal
integrity and moral courage]; so that the man of
God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly
equipped for every good work. 2
Timothy 3:13-17
Let us once again look to the WORD OF
GOD and see what JESUS had to say about the harvest. Once again you will find
that CARL LENTZ is a FALSE TEACHER snared by his own words. God always shows
you the true intentions of a man’s heart if you pay close attention.
Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest is [indeed] plentiful, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His
harvest.” Matthew 9:37-38
Laura
Lentz: “It’s not our place to tell anyone how they should live, it’s – that’s
their journey.”
If Carl Lentz and his wife Laura Lentz
were truly men and women of God they would NOT be speaking these LIES. The Word
of God clearly says it is our job as followers of Christ Jesus to let others
know they MUST REPENT and turn from a lifestyle of sin.
Look now to the Scriptures that teach
the repentance of sin and turning away from sin:
“Who you are is
not defined by what you do, but it is defined according to who Jesus is to you.”

The Word of God would disagree with Carl Lentz: Whatever
you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the
Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through
Him. Colossians
3:17
Just like the false teachers in Jesus’ day, our Lord has this to say to
Carl Lentz:
“But woe (judgment is coming) to you, [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven in front of people; for
you do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow those who are [in the process of] entering to do so. [Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites, because you swallow up widows’ houses, and to cover it up you make
long prayers; therefore you will receive the greater condemnation.] Woe to you, [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites, because you travel over sea and land to make a single proselyte
(convert to Judaism), and when he becomes a convert, you make him twice as much
a son of hell as you are. Matthew 23:13-15
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the
testimony given at the proper time. – 1Timothy
2:5-6 (ESV)
In a recent interview on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Carl Lentz explains
that he hopes that churches like his will “transform the way people experience
their relationship with God.” Oprah then asks Carl Lentz, “do you believe that only Christians can be
in a relationship with God.” His reply,
No, I believe that
when Jesus said that “I am the way, the truth, and the life,” the way I read
that, Jesus said that he is the road marker, he is the map, so I think
that God loves people so much, that whether they accept or reject him, he’s
still gracious, and he’s still moving, and he’s still giving you massive red
blinking lights, for chances to take a right turn when maybe you’d take a left,
but I believe God loves people, and that’s what this whole gospel is based on,
it’s love….{this would be considered a FALSE GOSPEL
according to the Word of God 1Timothy 2:5-6}
This
is nothing less than the Gospel of Oprah. It’s a universal, “God loves
everybody,” version of the Gospel. Lentz tells Oprah that people spend way
too much time “doing it in their own strength… and that isn’t working,”
Our thing is to say, hey, if you allow God, if you bow your knee, admit
your need of God, and if you do that, and Lord … there’s a moment where my repentance
matters, and it’s right now, I am handing over the keys, if you do that…I think
the premise of Christianity is looking in the mirror going, alright, I’m not
going to make it, I can’t do enough, God I need you, and in that moment, I
believe there’s a rescue of salvation that you can’t counterfeit any other way.
So this is his presentation of the
Gospel to Oprah. Did you notice what his “premise of Christianity is?” It isn’t
Jesus. In fact, there was no mention of Jesus in his “gospel” presentation. His
premise is looking in the mirror, and telling God you can’t make it.
Carl
Lentz is a false teacher preaching a false Gospel. His gospel appeals to the
masses, and people like Oprah, because it’s inclusive, and does not place Jesus
Christ as the premise of the Gospel. It places man and his “choices” at the
center of this false Gospel.
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be
false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even
denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
– 2 Peter 2:1

pray I have given you enough TRUTH from the Word of God that it
