🏳️‍🌈✝️ Learning to walk through this journey of life in the TRUTH from God's Word.

It is time to let go of your life and let God bring you into everlasting life in TRUTH.

"For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth." 3 John 3

The truth was in Gaius, and Gaius walked in the truth.

If the first had not been the case, the second could never have occurred; and if the second could not be said of him the first would have been a mere pretence.

Truth must enter into the soul, penetrate and saturate it, or else it is of no value.

Doctrines held as a matter of creed are like bread in the hand, which ministers no nourishment to the frame; but doctrine accepted by the heart, is as food digested, which, by assimilation, sustains and builds up the body.

In us TRUTH must be a LIVING FORCE, an ACTIVE ENERGY, an INDWELLING REALITY, a part of the woof and warp of our being. If it be in us, we cannot henceforth part with it. A man may lose his garments or his limbs, but his inward parts are vital, and cannot be torn away without absolute loss of life.

A Christian can DIE, but he cannot DENY the TRUTH.

Now it is a rule of nature that the inward affects the outward, as light shines from the centre of the lantern through the glass: when, therefore, the TRUTH is kindled within, its brightness soon beams forth in the outward life and conversation.

It is said that the food of certain worms colours the cocoons of silk which they spin: and just so the nutriment upon which a man's inward nature lives gives a tinge to every word and deed proceeding from him. To walk in the TRUTH, imports a life of INTEGRITY, HOLINESS, FAITHFULNESS, and SIMPLICITY--the natural product of those principles of truth which the gospel teaches, and which the Spirit of God enables us to receive.

We may judge of the secrets of the soul by their manifestation in the man's conversation. Be it ours today, O gracious Spirit, to be ruled and governed by thy divine authority, so that nothing false or sinful may reign in our hearts, lest it extend its malignant influence to our daily walk among men.

You Walk in the Truth

The elder [of the church addresses this letter] to the beloved and esteemed Gaius, whom I love in truth. Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. For I was greatly pleased when [some of the] brothers came [from time to time] and testified to your [faithfulness to the] truth [of the gospel message], that is, how you are walking in truth. I have no greater joy than this, to hear that my [spiritual] children are living [their lives] in the truth. Beloved, you are acting faithfully in what you are providing for the brothers, and especially when they are strangers; and they have testified before the church of your love and friendship. You will do well to [assist them and] send them on their way in a manner worthy of God. For these [traveling missionaries] went out for the sake of the Name [of Christ], accepting nothing [in the way of assistance] from the Gentiles. So we ought to support such people [welcoming them as guests and providing for them], so that we may be fellow workers for the truth [that is, for the gospel message of salvation]. I wrote something to the church; but Diotrephes, who loves to put himself first, does not accept what we say and refuses to recognize my authority. For this reason, if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, unjustly accusing us with wicked words and unjustified charges. And not satisfied with this, he refuses to receive the [missionary] brothers himself, and also forbids those who want to [welcome them] and puts them out of the church. Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but [imitate] what is good. The one who practices good [exhibiting godly character, moral courage and personal integrity] is of God; the one who practices [or permits or tolerates] evil has not seen God [he has no personal experience with Him and does not know Him at all]. 3 John 3:1-11

How to make sure you are walking in the TRUTH –

      1. Letting God take charge of your life. Jeremiah 10:23-24

I know GOD that mere mortals can’t run their own lives; that men and women don’t have what it takes to take charge of life. So correct us, God, as you see best. Don’t lose your temper. That would be the end of us. Vent your anger on the godless nations, who refuse to acknowledge you, And on the people who won’t pray to you—

      2. Letting the Lord teach you to profit and lead you in the way that you should go while paying attention to His Commandments. Isaiah 48:17-18

This is what the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel says, “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit (benefit), who leads you in the way that you should go. “Oh, that you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your peace and prosperity would have been like a [flowing] river, And your righteousness [the holiness and purity of the nation] like the [abundant] waves of the sea.

In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. Proverbs 3:6

      3. Studying the Word of God for direction – 2 Timothy 3:16

All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]

      4. Keeping the law and statutes of the Lord giving Him the Glory and Honor He deserves for  all He does for you.

The law of the Lord is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul; the statutes of the Lord are reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned [reminded, illuminated, and instructed]; In keeping them there is great reward.  Psalm 19:7,11

“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they exist, and were created and brought into being.” Revelation 4:11

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” And Jesus replied to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. Matthew 22:36-38

      5. Treating others with love and respect. Matthew 7:12; 22:39-40

“So then, in everything treat others the same way you want them to treat you, for this is [the essence of] the Law and the [writings of the] Prophets. Matthew 7:12

The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’ The whole Law and the [writings of the] Prophets depend on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:39-40

       6. Learning how the principles of the Bible benefit our walk with the Lord.

Bible principles teach families how to be united by love. (Colossians 3:12-14) God’s Word also protects families by teaching another guiding principle—that marriage should be permanent.Read 2 Corinthians 6:14, Hebrews13:4, Matthew 19:1-12

By following Bible teachings, we can protect our material and emotional welfare. For example, employers often prefer workers who live by the Bible principles of honesty and diligence. (Proverbs 10:4, 26; Hebrews 13:18) God’s Word also teaches us to be content with the things that are necessary and to value friendship with God above material things.Read Matthew 6:24, 25, 33; 1 Timothy 6:8-10.

Applying Bible principles can protect our health. (Proverbs 14:30; 22:24, 25) For example, adhering to God’s law against drunkenness protects us from deadly diseases and accidents. (Proverbs 23:20) Jehovah permits us to drink alcoholic beverages but only in moderation. (Psalm 104:15; 1 Corinthians 6:10) Godly principles benefit us by teaching us to guard not just our actions but also our thoughts. (Psalm 119:97-100) Yet, true Christians do not respect God’s standards merely to benefit themselves. They do so to honor Jehovah.Read Matthew 5:14-16.

Praise God for the TRUTH and His Word that gives us instruction on living in the TRUTH to please Him. God desires that All people, including LGBTQI+ walk through this journey living His Truth so He can bless them.

May the Truth of God’s Word set you Free today so your continued journey through this life will be prosperous and joyful.

Blessings and Peace,
