When I say to the wicked,
‘You will certainly die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to tell him to
turn from his wicked way to save his life, that same evil man will die in his
sin, but you will be responsible for his blood. However, if you have warned the
wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he will
die in his sin; but you have freed yourself [from responsibility]. Ezekiel 3:18-19
As believer’s {Followers of Jesus Christ, “Christians”} we are
commissioned to go into this world and EXPOSE EVIL. Remember we you are
exposing evil, you will get push back from those who are actually living in
darkness {John 3:20}. Satan does not like for his demonic activities to be exposed to the
light of Jesus Christ because he knows there is no more hiding when the light
is shining because darkness cannot hide from the light {John 1:5}.
We learn from Ephesians 5:11-14 that we are given the light from Christ
Jesus so we can expose the sins of darkness. From John 16:7-11 we learn that Jesus had to return to the Father in Heaven so the Holy
Spirit would be free to come to earth as our comforter, healer, and teacher and
also be the One who would convict this world of its sin.
Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by
exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character]; for it is
disgraceful even to mention the things that such people practice in secret. But
all things become visible when they are exposed by the light [of God’s
precepts]; for it is light that makes everything visible. For this reason He
says, “Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will
shine [as dawn] upon you and
give you light.” Ephesians 5:11-14
But I tell you the truth, it is to your
advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (Comforter,
Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you;
but if I go, I will send Him (the Holy Spirit) to you [to be in close fellowship
with you]. And
He, when He comes, will convict the world about [the guilt of] sin [and the need for a Savior], and about righteousness, and
about judgment:
about sin [and the true nature of it],
because they
do not believe in Me [and My message]; about righteousness [personal integrity and godly character], because I am going to My Father and you
will no longer see Me; about
judgment
[the certainty of it], because the ruler of this world (Satan) has been judged and condemned. John 16:7-11
Satan and his demonic forces know the Bible better most Christians ever will. He uses his knowledge against the saints of God just he tried to do with Jesus Christ {who was the Word made flesh} and FAILED. In order to recognize the twisted lies being taught as true scripture you must; “Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.” {2 Timothy 2:15}
If you choose to remain silent; you start joining wickedness and remember “God is not mocked” {Galatians 6:7}. It is time for TRUE BELIEVERS to quit being part of this world, expose it instead and save lives. The person who truly loves Christ is the one who will boldly stand up for Christ even if they lose friends, family, and even when the world hates them. The people, like those I have encountered on Social Media, who hate Christ are going to read this and say, “Stop Judging.”
Jesus told His followers to imitate Him by feeding the hungry, caring
for strangers, and visiting people in prison, helping the sick and needy {see Matthew 25:31-46}. Micah 6:8 also reminds believers that God has already told us that He requires
His people to do justice, love mercy and walk in humility with our God. Hence,
when Christ followers live a life such as this, the Holy Spirit is able to
showcase a community of people who live out the Beatitudes {see Matthew 5:1-16}, which is a foretaste of how life can be experienced on earth as it
is in heaven {see Luke 11:2-4}, which the Holy Spirit will use to convict the world of sin and
unbelief.
Do not judge by appearance [superficially and
arrogantly], but
judge fairly and righteously. John 7:24
There are many rebellious men
who are empty talkers [just windbags] and deceivers; especially those of the
circumcision [those Jews who insist that Gentile believers must be circumcised
and keep the Law in order to be saved]. They must be silenced, because they are
upsetting whole families by teaching things they should not teach for the
purpose of dishonest financial
gain. One of them [Epimenides, a Cretan], a prophet of their own, said,
“Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” This description is
true. So rebuke them sharply so that they will be sound in the faith and free from doctrinal error, not
paying attention to Jewish myths and the commandments and rules of men who turn their backs on the truth. Titus 1:10-14
It is the responsibility of the believer
{Christian} to expose the evil men and women in this world who are being
controlled by demonic forces to lead people away from God by having them focus
on SELF over God. Reading through Scripture we find that this world we live in
has nothing to offer us that outweigh all the beautiful things Christ Jesus has
in store for those who trust in Him. All that is required is for us to lay
aside the ways of the world and cling to the things given to us by our Heavenly
Father.
But I say, walk habitually
in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you
will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds
impulsively without regard for God and His precepts]. For the sinful nature has
its desire which is opposed to the Spirit, and the [desire of the] Spirit
opposes the sinful nature; for these [two, the sinful nature and the Spirit]
are in direct opposition to each other [continually in conflict], so that you
[as believers] do not [always] do whatever [good things] you want to do. But if
you are guided and led by the
Spirit, you are not subject to the Law. Now the practices of the sinful nature
are clearly evident: they are
sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of
self-control), idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger,
disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies], envy, drunkenness,
riotous behavior, and other
things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those
who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of
the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern
for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we
act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have
crucified the sinful nature together with its passions and appetites. If
we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with
personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by
the Holy Spirit]. We must not become conceited, challenging or provoking one another, envying one
another. Galatians 5:16-26
We are to do the best we can through Christ
Jesus to help as many people as possible who are being controlled by demonic
forces which have caused them to become a danger to themselves and to others.
In 2 Timothy 3 we read about the difficult times ahead
and we can rest assured that through the help of Christ Jesus we can make it
through.
But understand this, that in
the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come
[difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self
[narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful,
arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and
they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and
inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control
[intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited,
lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of
[outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their
conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. 2 Timothy 3:1-5
There is no better time than the present to
STAND UP as SAINTS of GOD against the evil in this world clothed in the armour
of God to expose the ones who are being controlled by these demonic forces {Ephesians 6:10-20}. It is time to SPEAK with the boldness of
the HOLY SPIRIT against this evil calling it out just like our example Christ
Jesus did when confronting the EVIL MEN calling themselves “Church” leaders.
“You brood of vipers, how can you speak good things when
you are evil? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.” Matthew 12:34
As believers it is our responsibility to
judge the universe regarding the demonic forces that travel through the airways
spreading lies and deceit towards all mankind. There is coming a day when the people
of God will judge all the affairs of everyday life therefore it is important to
start now by NOT taking Spiritual matters before the worldly men and women who
cannot understand the things that are NOT of this world.
How dare one of you with a
complaint against another go to court before pagan judges and not before God’s
people? Don’t you know that God’s people are going to judge the universe? If
you are going to judge the universe, are you incompetent to judge these minor
matters? Don’t you know that we will judge angels, not to mention affairs of
everyday life? So if you require judgments about matters of everyday life, why
do you put them in front of men who have no standing in the Messianic
Community? {1 Corinthians 6:1-4 (CJB)}.
As a believer standing up against EVIL, we are commanded to JUDGE with
RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT {Matthew 7:1-5; John 7:24}. This means you must hold the judgment up against the WORD of GOD so
it can be revealed through Scripture to be evil. We are commanded NOT to JUDGE
according to the flesh because we all live in the flesh and must die to the
flesh daily.
So then, brothers and
sisters, we have an obligation, but not to our flesh [our human nature, our
worldliness, our sinful capacity], to live according to the [impulses of the]
flesh [our nature without the Holy Spirit] — for if you are living according to
the [impulses of the] flesh, you are going to die. But if [you are living] by
the [power of the Holy] Spirit you are habitually
putting to death the sinful
deeds of the body, you will [really] live forever. Romans 8:12-13
When you start allowing the Holy Spirit to
operate through you, you will find that this world {demonic forces} will rise
up against you because it hates Christ Jesus and those who follow Him. Remember
this however that Christ Jesus has sent the Holy Spirit to give you comfort and
strength.
“If the world hates you [and it does], know that it has hated Me before it
hated you. If
you belonged to the world, the world would love [you as] its own and would treat you with affection. But you are not of the world [you no longer belong to
it], but I
have chosen you out of the world. And because of this the world hates you. Remember [and continue to remember] that I told you, ‘A servant is
not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute
you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But they will do all these [hurtful] things to you for My name’s
sake
[because you bear My name and are identified with Me], for they do not know the One who
sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not
have [the
guilt of their] sin;
but now they have no excuse for their sin. The one who hates Me also hates My Father. If I had not done among them the works
(attesting miracles) which no one else [ever] did, they would not have [the guilt of their] sin; but now [the fact is that] they have both seen [these works] and have hated Me [and continue to hate Me] and My Father as well. But [this is so] that the word which has been written in
their Law would be fulfilled, ‘They
hated Me without a cause.’ “But when the Helper (Comforter, Advocate,
Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) comes, whom I will send to you
from the Father, that is the
Spirit of Truth who comes from the Father, He will testify and bear witness about Me. John 15:18-26
Forever in Christ Jesus service,

Woe (judgment is coming) to those who call
evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness. Isaiah 5:20
Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who
are unfortunate and
defenseless; Open your mouth, judge righteously, and administer justice for the afflicted and needy. Proverbs 31:8-9
Do not judge by appearance [superficially and
arrogantly], but
judge fairly and righteously. John 7:24
For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative,
energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating
as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person],
and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and
intentions of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
But Jesus loudly declared, “The one who believes and trusts in Me does not believe [only] in Me but [also believes] in Him who sent Me. And whoever sees Me sees the One who sent
Me. I have come as Light into the
world, so that everyone who believes and
trusts in Me
[as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My
message] will
not continue to live in darkness. If anyone hears My words and
does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the
final judgment of the world], but to save the world. John 12:44-47
But as for you, continue in the things that
you have learned and of which you are convinced [holding tightly to the
truths], knowing from whom you learned them,
and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings (Hebrew Scriptures)
which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith
which is in Christ Jesus [surrendering your entire self to Him and having
absolute confidence in His wisdom, power and goodness]. All Scripture is
God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction,
for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to
obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to
God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal
integrity and moral courage]; so that the man of God may be
complete and proficient,
outfitted and thoroughly
equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:14-17
For though we walk in the flesh [as mortal men], we are not carrying on our [spiritual] warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man. The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6
The Lord will not abandon His people, nor will He abandon His
inheritance. Judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it. Who will stand up for me against the evildoers? Who will take a stand for me against those who do wickedness? Psalm 94:14-16
Do not judge [others self-righteously], and you will not be judged; do
not condemn
[others when you are guilty and unrepentant], and you will not be condemned [for your hypocrisy]; pardon [others when they truly
repent and change], and you will be pardoned [when you truly repent and change]. Luke 6:37
You adulteresses [disloyal sinners—flirting
with the world and breaking your vow to God]! Do you not know that being the
world’s friend [that is, loving the things of the world] is being God’s enemy?
So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. James 4:4
On the contrary, the things which the
Gentiles (pagans) sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons [in effect], and not to
God; and I do not want you to become partners with demons [by eating at feasts
in pagan temples]. You cannot drink [both] the Lord’s cup and the cup of
demons. You cannot share in both the Lord’s Table and the table of demons
[thereby becoming partners with them]. 1 Corinthians 10:20-21
Do not love the world [of sin that opposes
God and His precepts], nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves
the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15
But Saul, who was also known as Paul, filled with the Holy
Spirit and led by Him, looked
steadily at Elymas, and said, “You [Elymas] who are full of every [kind of]
deceit, and every [kind of] fraud, you son of the devil, enemy of everything
that is right and good, will
you never stop perverting the straight paths of the Lord? Acts 13:9-10
So then, my dear ones, just as you have
always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but
now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is,
cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with
awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical
self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name
of Christ]. For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at
work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and
creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His
good pleasure. Philippians 2:12–13
So put to death and deprive of power the evil longings of your earthly body
[with its sensual, self-centered instincts] immorality, impurity, sinful passion, evil desire, and
greed, which is [a kind of] idolatry [because it replaces your devotion to
God]. Colossians 3:5
And those who belong to Christ Jesus have
crucified the sinful nature together with its passions and appetites. Galatians 5:24
What
shall we say [to all this]? Should we continue in sin and practice sin as a habit so that [God’s gift of] grace may
increase and overflow?
Certainly not! How can we, the very ones who died to sin, continue to live in it any longer? Or
are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ
Jesus were baptized into His death? We have therefore been buried with Him
through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead
through the glory and power of
the Father, we too might walk habitually
in newness of life [abandoning our old ways]. For if we have become one with
Him [permanently united] in the likeness of His death, we will also certainly
be [one with Him and share fully] in
the likeness of His resurrection. We know that our old self [our human
nature without the Holy Spirit] was nailed to the cross with Him, in order that our body of sin
might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin. For
the person who has died [with Christ] has been freed from [the power of] sin. Now
if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live [together] with
Him,because we know [the self-evident truth] that Christ,
having been raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has
power over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin
[ending its power and paying the sinner’s debt] once and for all; and the life
that He lives, He lives to [glorify] God [in unbroken fellowship with Him].
Even so, consider yourselves to be dead to sin [and your relationship to it
broken], but alive to God [in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus. Therefore
do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts and passions. Do not
go on offering members of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness. But
offer yourselves to God [in a decisive act] as those alive [raised] from the
dead [to a new life], and your members [all of your abilities—sanctified, set
apart] as instruments of righteousness [yielded] to God. For sin will no longer
be a master over you, since you are not under Law [as slaves], but under
[unmerited] grace [as recipients of God’s favor and mercy]. What
then [are we to conclude]? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under
[God’s] grace? Certainly not! Do you not know that when you continually offer yourselves to
someone to do his will, you are the slaves of the one whom you obey, either
[slaves] of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness
(right standing with God)? But thank God that though you were slaves of sin,
you became obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which
you were instructed and to
which you were committed. And having been set free from sin, you have become
the slaves of righteousness [of conformity to God’s will and purpose]. I am
speaking in [familiar] human terms because of your natural limitations [your
spiritual immaturity]. For just as you presented your bodily members as slaves
to impurity and to [moral] lawlessness, leading to further lawlessness, so now
offer your members [your abilities, your talents] as slaves to righteousness,
leading to sanctification [that is, being set apart for God’s purpose]. When
you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness [you had no
desire to conform to God’s will]. So what benefit did you get
at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? [None!] For the
outcome of those things is death! But now since you have been set free from sin
and have become [willing] slaves to God, you have your benefit, resulting in
sanctification [being made holy and set apart for God’s purpose], and the
outcome [of this] is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free
gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers]
is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6
